Atticus at the Getty

I took my youngest son Atticus to the J. Paul Getty Museum on Monday for a photo shoot. It’s easier to take a photograph of a Sasquatch than it is to take a good photo of Atticus. He squirms and spins, runs and dashes all over the shot. Usually pictures of him are just a blur. However, this time round he tried his hardest to please his dad. I would say “smile”…and he would contort his face into what he thought a smile might be. Passerby’s were cracking up at the sight of this little red-headed beauty. I eventually got a few great ones.

Redondo Beach Pier

In hopes of taking a few nice pictures of the kids, we dressed them up in some slick looking clothes and drove them out to a beach we had never been to called Torrance Beach. It’s located just south of the Redondo Beach Pier. We later bought some ice cream and walked along the pier. Eve struck her usual fashion model poses and Asher pulled his usual crazy antics. Atticus rarely see’s the need to look at me while I am taking the photos. He is usually pointing at other more interesting sites and people.

We woke up at 6am and drove out to Palos Verdes Peninsula this Saturday in hopes to spot a whale or two from the cliffs overlooking the ocean. No luck. We later caught up with Brynn’s brother John and his family and hiked down to some pretty stellar tide pools.
