For those of you haven’t driven along Highway (1) between Monterrey and San Luis Obispo in the springtime I feel sorry. The hills are a New Zealand-esc green and the drive is chock full of beautiful vistas. Elephant seals and sea otters galore. Guaranteed to please the whole family. Brynn’s parents met up with us there for a rainy-but-pleasant 4 day campout.

Yesterday evening was probably one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in my lifetime.  It had been raining all day and the sun made a last ditch effort to shine just before it set.  Lucas Janin managed to take this quick snapshot of an awesome duel rainbow that existed for only about 10 minutes.  The windows and balconies at Dreamworks were littered with faces all taking in the unusally beautfiul view.  Absolutey magical.

So 3000 pieces and 32+ hours later my lego MOC (My Own Creation) Volkswagen bus is finished. Complete with engine, two toned interior, and spare tire behind the driver’s seat.
